Donate

We are a not for profit project steered by leadership group of unpaid volunteers. We need your support to continue to work towards improving the situation of child asylum seekers in detention and challenging that detention. We currently welcome donations to enable us to pursue the objectives of the project.

We need money to:

  • Pay for postage to send books and letters to children in detention.
  • Design materials about the project for schools and other interested interested organisations
  • Inform the community about the situation of children in detention.

The Brotherhood of St Laurence has agreed to receive the donations for the project. Can you please let them know that your donation is for the Befriend a Child in Detention project.
